Flat Belly Solution – Get Rid of Your Belly Now I spent most of my adult life wishing I had a flat belly. Now that I’ve been able to attain my fitness goals and have a flat belly again, I can’t believe how little I knew about what would work when I started out. It seemed like my tummy fat had no solution. I tried a fiber-rich diet, which from my reading was connected to lower amounts of “visceral” fat — or, in other words, belly fat. So I made sure that each of my meals contained at least one item rich in fiber.
It Wasn’t That I Didn’t Work For A Flat Belly
I tried eating lots of peppers, ate two bananas a day, and developed a serious green tea habit. There are probably another dozen bits of dietary advice I tried. And maybe some of it worked — the fact is, I had been successfully losing weight and building definition throughout the rest of my body – but when it came to my belly, these dietary cures and tricks were not enough.
Before I achieved a flat belly I tried adjusting my sleep. I varied my schedule, worrying that maybe I was sleeping too much or to little, or that I was waking up in my sleep without knowing it. I changed my pillows, tried breathing strips, and kept a log of my sleep schedule. As usual, nothing I tried made a difference and the belly fat didn’t budge.
I am not generally a stressed-out person, thankfully. I took short daily jogs most days of the week to make sure my mind was clear. When the weather is good, I like to take my dog hiking up on the trails near my town. I knew it wasn’t stress that was causing my trouble slimming down.
Making The Connection
Some people have more trouble than others reducing tummy fat and finding a flat belly solution. I am one of those people who needs a complete system to incorporate exercise, diet, and lifestyle in order to deal with my belly. In my case, I finally started out on the right track when I learned the Truth About Abs from a site edited by Mike Geary, a Certified Nutrition Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT).
His research is focused on people like me, who don’t necessarily have trouble losing weight but aren’t able to work the weight off their belly by following common sense and the advice you get in the gym. Those methods didn’t work for me, and wasted months of my time while I struggled to figure out what I was doing wrong with my fitness plan.
If you’re putting a lot of work into achieving a flat belly, you may be finding out for yourself how hard it is to make progress when you’re directing all of your energy into solutions that don’t seem to have any scientific basis or proven benefit. Make sure you know the Truth About Abs before you spend any more time following your current fitness plan just to be sure you aren’t barking up the wrong tree altogether!
